You can now enjoy the Swadian endgame right at the start of the game. Don a full suit of plate armor and a great winged helm with your weapons of choice (My preferences are a Sword of War or Morning-star with Lance on horseback and Siege Crossbow for well.sieges). Now that you have your army it's time to equip yourself. But not only that! Once you get to a high standing in these villages you can skip straight to recruiting Swadian Men-at-Arms and even Swadian Knights for the same price as a first tier recruit! Once you get into a position where you can easy obtain and replenish your army with the highest tier cavalry it is time to. The higher your reputation the more troops you can recruit each time the village lets you enlist recruits. Doing so will increase your reputation with these villages. To circumvent this we will begin doing quests for the village we now control and maybe another village or two. Swadian Knights are incredible fighters but are very expensive to train and field on top of the time it takes to acquire them. If he says no then you will just have to keep doing Harlaus quests until he says yes. If he says yes then congratulations! You now how a fief and earn taxes. You can add persuasion points when you start the game as well as getting a quest to give you some free reputation with Harlaus. It is not a 100% guarantee so don't be surprised if he says no. Step 3: Did you know you can become a vassal at level 1? The whole process we did allows us to do just that. Defeat Count Rochabarth for some easy renown and proceed to. If you do this on the field he will fight you will his whole army and you will have no chance. Remember you must speak to him inside the castle. You will have a special dialogue where he claims you are a fake noble and you can face him in a duel. If you find him traveling on the field then wait and follow him until he enters a castle. If you find him while he is staying at a castle then that is perfect. Step 2: Now that we are of a noble background seek out Count Rochabarth. Choose impoverished noble and the other options you can be a bit more lenient towards but you must pick the impoverished noble origin or else you cannot do the special quest interaction for.
The most important option is the first one. Step 1: Here we pick a specific life path because of steps 2 and 3 which will later on catapult us very efficiently to step 4.
